This free, two-hour seminar explores all of the top features in Aperture 2, our invited professional photographer’s workflow and an introduction of Canon’s latest camera.

Speaker Bio

John Stanmeyer is a co-founding member of VII Workshop. Living in the Far East for more then a decade, Stanmeyer has witnessed throughout that time nearly every major historical event in Asia.

On contract with Time Magazine since 1998 and working regularly for National Geographic and other global publications, Stanmeyer spent over seven years photographing an in-depth study of AIDS throughout all of Asia.

Stanmeyer has been the recipient of numerous honors including the Robert Capa Award, Magazine Photographer of the Year, as well as numerous World Press and Picture of the Year awards.
